Description: In this assignment, I’m reflecting back on each Essay I did during this course and explaining how I felt and how everything turned out.

                                         Reflections

Narrative Essay Reflection: I have written many narratives before. I can say that writing a narrative is like venting because I’m talking about my past experiences. Every time I wrote a narrative it was never a fiction narrative it was always based on my experiences. My narrative tells a story about how I was overweight, ashamed, embarrassed, and antisocial and how I overcame all this. I have learned a lot about myself through writing narrative. It has helped me to process my experiences and to make sense of my life. I have also learned that writing can be a powerful tool for healing and growth. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my stories with others and to connect with them on a deeper level. During the peer review with my classmates, we read our narratives and some of them related to my story which made me feel like I wasn’t the only one that went through this. Also one of my classmate’s stories was very similar to mine. In the future, I hope to continue writing narratives and to explore new ways of telling my stories. I believe that everyone has a story to tell.

Bibliography Reflection: This was my first time ever writing a bibliography. Out of all essays we did during this course this essay took the longest. I feel like this assignment had a lot of steps to it which is why it took a longer process. We had to write the correct citations. Find at least 4 different sources which is another reason why it felt like a longer process. Lastly, we summarized each source. This essay was very much of an experience. Would I ever want to write a bibliography again? I don’t think so. If it came down to it and I have to do it again I would because now I know I’ve done it before so I would know what to do right for my next one. Overall, writing a bibliography was a challenging but rewarding experience. I learned a lot about the process of finding and citing sources, and I am confident that I will be able to do it more efficiently in the future. This experience has also helped me to develop my research skills, which will be valuable in my future academic and professional endeavors.

Argumentative Essay Reflection: I have written plenty of argumentative essays so this was very familiar to me. Argumentative essays is a type of writing where you take a stance on a particular issue and present arguments to support your position. This was very calm writing an argumentative essay but in my essay there were a few things I forgot to add to my essay but ended up fixing it. This experience taught me the importance of planning and outlining my essays before writing. I also learned to be more careful about proofreading my work. I am confident that these lessons will help me write even better argumentative essays in the future.
